The South Carolina Department of Transportation has closed a bridge on Ashmore Bridge Road (S-23-488) in Greenville County for maintenance repairs on Oct. 18, 2017. A posted detour is in place. The repairs are expected to take approximately 2 weeks, pending delay due to weather or other circumstances. The traveling public is advised to follow the posted detour route, which is Fork Shoals Road (S-23-50), Conestee Road (S-23-221), and West Butler Road (S-23-107).
