Piedmont’s Ashland Craft continued to wow the judges on NBC’s “The Voice” Monday night and survived the first elimination among the top 12 contestants on Tuesday night’s episode.
Craft was among the final group of artists to be declared safe on Monday night and will return with the other two members of Miley Cyrus’ team next week.
In Monday’s competition, Craft sang Tanya Tucker’s 1972 hit “Delta Dawn and received praise from coaches Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson. Tuesday’s episode included viewer voting and the premiere of a music video starring Craft and her fellow contestants, along with the stars of the upcoming film “Pitch Perfect 3,” as well as a clip from a recent concert in Los Angeles by the top 12.
In the latter clip, Craft said, “I’m loving every second of it.”
Next week’s competition airs on Monday, Nov. 27 and another contestant will be eliminated on Tuesday.
