Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:
Dec. 2 – Jason Lee Vickery, 29, 115 West 2nd St., Williamston reported someone broke into his Honda CRV and took a 15 inch subwoofer and 2000 W Pioneer Amp. Fishing rods valued at $450 were also taken from the back porch. C. C. Brown, Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.
Dec. 2 – Reginald X Jackson, 58, 113 Prestwick Dr., Anderson and Juanita Michelle Jones, 48 of the same address, were both arrested for domestic violence after officers responded to 19 Brown St., in reference to a domestic call. According to reports officers made contact with Miss Jones at friends house at 19 Brown St., where she reported Jackson had struck her in the mouth, pulled her hair and threatened to kill her.
Jackson was located at 11 Brown Street where the alleged incident happened.
Jackson told officers that Jones was upset about him making her leave their home address and she jumped him and struck him in the mouth. Due to conflicting stories a primary aggressor could not be determined and both were arrested and transported to ACDC.
Dec. 4 – Philip Marshall Hughey, 29, 2 W 4th St., Williamston was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana after officers responded to the address in reference to a domestic call. During the investigation a clear broke pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana was found on the front porch. According to reports while a search warrant was being obtained for the house, Hughey gave officers consent to enter the home and search for marijuana that he said was in the house. A clear bag of green leafy substance believed to be marijuana was found in the house along with a small bag of a green leaf substance believed to be marijuana that was found in his left jacket pocket. A small clear plastic baggy containing a crystal like substance was also found on a table along with two weighing scales and a clear pipe with brown and black substance inside. Hughey was transported to ACDC. Another person at the residence, Jason Rodney Leonard, 440 Campbell Rd., Pelzer was also arrested. C. C. Brown, B. K. Creel investigated.
Dec. 4 – First Citizens Bank, 113 East Main St,. Williamston reported a subject attempted to cash a check on a First Citizen account belonging to Harry Wayne Bolt in the amount of $250 The check was made out to Tyler Matthew Strickland. The subject left in a hurried manner when the teller began to verify information, leaving behind a driver’s license and the check. Det. G. Culbertson is investigating.
