A chase that began in Honea Path Sunday morning ended on a dead end road in Possum Kingdom. An Anderson county deputy spotted a vehicle matching the description of a stolen vehicle. As the deputy was doing a tag check the driver sped away. Eventually, the driver crashed the vehicle in the French Woods on a dead end section of Mountain Creek Road. The driver then fled on foot. Deputies are still investigating. The vehicle was stolen earlier in the week. (Photo by David Rogers)
