Deputies from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are investigating two incidents of vandalism that occurred at two separate churches over the weekend. Between 5 pm on February 24th, and 8 am, on February 25th, vandal(s) spray painted derogatory comments, in Spanish, towards Billy Graham, on the exterior walls of Life Spring Community Church, located at 437 Holland Road, and Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal Church, located at 1865 Piedmont Highway. The various messages, used profanity and one of the messages translated to, “Under Billy Graham lives the devil.”
The vandalized churches did not have any surveillance cameras to capture the incidents. Investigators request that anyone with information regarding these incidents to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
