Williamston Police Report


Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:
Feb. 23 – Nathan Daniel Smith, 29, 342 Wesley Ellison Rd., Williamston was arrested for simple possession of marijuana after officers were dispatched to Goody’s, 17 Pelzer Ave, Williamston in reference to a suspicious person. Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.
Feb. 23 – Bryson Sanchez Jabree Jackson, 21, 104 Bigby St, Williamston was arrested for simple possession of marijuana and open container after a vehicle was observed by an officer on a business walk thru at SavWay, 309 E. Main St. According to reports, Jackson was in the driver seat and admitted to having 14 grams of marijuana inside the crotch area of his pants. A black plastic bag taken from his pants did indeed contain a green leafy plant like material consistent with marijuana. A clear 750 ml bottle of Burnett’s vodka was also found in the vehicle. He was transported to ACDC without incident. K. Anthony investigated.
Feb. 25 – Travis Eugene Patterson, 25, 130 West First St., Williamston reported a black model J.A. 380 pistol was missing from his residence. The gun was valued at $170.00. C. C. Brown, K. Anthony investigated.
Feb. 27 – Karen McKee Keeler, 65, 110 Gossett Dr. #E6, Williamston reported an identity theft incident in which she received a credit card bill from Credit One Bank but has never had an account with them. Eleven charges were made on the account between Dec., 28, 2017 and Jan. 23, 2018. Det. Gene Culbertson is investigating.
