Envision Williamston “HOWDY” cleanup set for April 28

On Saturday, April 28th at 8am, Envision Williamston and the Town of Williamston will be co-hosting the 2nd Annual Hands on Williamston Day Y’all (HOWDY) Cleanup Day!
Sponsors for the community clean up are the Town of Williamston, Keep Anderson County Beautiful (CACB), Ace Hardware, and Envision Williamston.
Donated supplies from KACB and Ace Hardware will include gloves, vests, trash bags, grippers, and garden tools. Bottle water will also be provided.
Activities for HOWDY include picking up trash and planting annual flowers in Mineral Spring Park and at Town Hall. “We will celebrate our efforts by serving a pizza lunch afterwards,” said Envision Williamston Executive Director Sonya Crandall.
Volunteers are welcome to be a part of the HOWDY cleanup. Volunteers will meet in Mineral Spring Park at 8 a.m.
As a part of HOWDY, the PHSJROTC has already been out with their teams of students to pick up trash along several key roads around town including Cherokee Rd, Palmetto Rd, Courtney Rd, Hardwood Rd, and Hamilton St and others.
“Please plan to come on out for a great day of beautification!!”, Crandall said.
