Williamston Police Officers investigated the following:
Apr. 17 – Benita Ann Chester, 33, 102 Wateree Lane, Williamston reported a hit and run incident in which a white female with three kids in a pick up truck hit her vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot at 526 West Main St. (Dollar General) in Williamston. K. Anthony investigated.
Apr. 18 – Jeremy Eric Ford-Ferguson, 18, 119 Whitten Rd., Pelzer was arrested for simple possession of marijuana after officers were dispatched to Parker Street. According to reports, two people exited a red Mustang at a lot on Parker St. Officers found a Crown Royal bag in the left rear floor board which contained a clear sandwich bag with approximately 16 grams of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana and a set of digital scales. The driver, Ford and a passenger, Aaron Reese Huckaby, 18, 20 Circle Dr. Williamston were arrested for simple possession of marijuana. Reports stated Huckaby had a green leaf of marijuana on his shirt. L. B. Culbertson investigated.
Apr. 18 – A warrant for domestic violence was issued for Ryan Joey Hall, 28, 1 E 4th St,. Williamston after officers were dispatched to Fast Fuel on Main St., in reference to a domestic situation. According to reports, the incident occurred on Sullivan Street, and officers went to where the alleged incident occured to attempt to make contact with the suspect but were unable to locate him. R. Maxwell investigated.
Apr. 19 – Responding to a suspicious person call, officers located Keith Francis McDermott, 55, 313 E. Carolina St., Williamston on Greenville Drive. McDermott was placed on trespass notice for 11 Whilden Drive. Det. G. Culbertson investigated.
Apr. 20 – Patrick Brian Baker, 42, 209 Mill St., Williamston reported a red tandem axle trailer with dove tail wooden flooring taken from the location. The trailer was valued at $10,000. B. K. Creel, Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.
Apr. 21 – ACE Hardware, 29 Pelzer Ave., Williamston reported a shoplifting incident in which two white females entered the store and took multiple Carhartt Brand hats and other items. According to reports, the younger female was wearing a heavy coat and the older female would bring items to her in the dressing room. When she left the store the jacket was bulging. Items were also placed into clothing and a purse. Total estimated value of missing items is approximately $2000. B. K. Creel investigateed.
Apr. 21 – Ryan Joey Hall, 34 Lyman St., Pelzer and Keri Nicole Hall, 25, 16 Tasha Lane. West Pelzer, were arrested for burglary, possession of burglary tools and larceny after officers were dispatched to 6 Sullivan St.,in reference to a possible burglary. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.
Apr. 22 – Kaitlin Hayley Whittaker, 25, 129 Tabitha Ct., Anderson was arrested for simple possession of marijuana and drug equipment violations after officers observed a white Ford run a stop sign at the intersection of West First St, and Gossett Dr. According to reports, Whittaker had two sandwich bags with marijuana in them inside her pants. Each bag weighed 14.67 grams. She also had two scales in her possession. A pipe found in the passenger side door was also confiscated. K. Anthony investigated.
