A West Pelzer firefighter was injured Saturday afternoon after a tire exploded on the trailer of an 18 wheeler. Firefighters were investigating a brake fire on the trailer when it happened. The incident happened on Highway 29 near Beaverdam Road. The truck driver was knocked to the ground by the blast. (Photo by David Rogers)
