Piedmont firefighters worked to extinguish a mobile home fire recently. When firefighters arrived at the Estes Plant Road home, heavy fire and smoke was visible. Greenville EMS responded and stood by as a precaution while firefighters fought the blaze. South Greenville firefighters also assisted. The occupants of the home were able to escape. The fire was May 14.
