Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:
May 22 – Donald Ray Barnett, 45, 1 Durham Dr., Williamston was arrested for assault after officers responded to the residence in reference to a domestic incident. According to reports, during an argument, Barnett attempted to stop his girlfriend Andrea Patterson, 42, of the same address, from leaving, by throwing her to the ground twice. Though Patterson stated she was not injured, officers determined Barnett was the primary aggressor. He was arrested and transported to ACDC without incident. Det. G. Culbertson investigated.
May 25 – Victor Morris Skinner, Jr., 21, 115 Bluff Dr., Greenville was arrested for driving under suspension after a white Chevy sedan was observed driving in an evasive manner on Greenville Drive, Hamilton St. and then pull into the SavWay. K. Anthony investigated.
May 27 – Seth Joseph Williams, 34, 15 Sunset Ct., Williamston was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia after being observed exiting the woods at the rail crossing on Mill St. near Green St. According to reports, inside a back pack officers found a pill bottle that contained a broken glass pipe and a small container with an off white crystal substance that was negative on a field test for methamphetamine. May 25 – Karl Wesley Wilkes, 104 Davis St,. Williamston reported receiving conterfeit bills for a Galaxy 3 cell phone that he was selling on a web app called “Bought It.” According to reports, an unidentified white male gave him three fifty dollar bills for the phone and left. The bills were determined to be counterfeit and were placed into evidence. L. B. Culbertson investigated.
May 25 – Alex Lopez, 520A Enoree Rd., Travelers Rest reported $180 removed from the console of his 2007 Accura while at 10 Sunset Court, Williamston. L. B. Culbertson investigated.
May 4 – Kenneth Edward Leasure, 52, 307 Florence Dr,. Simpsonville reported a 1975 Chevy C10 pickup truck taken from the parking lot of Parkview Apartments. The vehicle is valued at $800. L. B. Culbertson investigated.
May 26 – Jeffrey Brandon Holbert, 41, Hendersonville, NC, reported the right rear tire and a spare tire removed from this 2001 Dodge Ram pickup while it was at 106 Davis St., Williamston. The 245/70R17 Falken brand tires were valued at $195 each. L. B. Culbertson investigated.
May 28 – O’Reilly Auto Parts, 402 E. Main St., Williamston reported a shoplifting incident involving items valued at $11. Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.
