Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:
June 12 – Johnathan Seth Mize, 17, 110 Lockaby Rd., Pelzer and Jeremy Eric Ford-Ferguson, 19, 119 Whitten Road, Pelzer were arrested after a red vehicle was observed blocking the roadway on Mineral Park Lane with approximately 1- to 15 juveniles around it. Charges made included simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and open container. Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.
June 13 – Officers investigated an assault incident in which Stevie Katelin Davis, 17, 111 McDonald Ave., Williamston reported two people exited a vehicle and one of them assaulted her about the face and body, throwing her to the ground and pinning her. When her sister tried to help, the other person, a male struck the sister in the face. The case was to be presented to a Judge Lollis in an attempt to obtain a warrant. J. Sargent investigated.
June 18 – David Eugene Bolt, 38, 105 West Second St., Williamston reported a go-kart valued at $400 taken from behind the residence. The go-kart had a red bottom, blue tape on roll bars and a Briggs and Straton motor. A back wheel did not have any bearings and was messed up. R. Maxwell investigated.
