The Municipal Election Commission of the Town of Williamston announces a general election will be held on Tuesday, November 6.
Offices included in this election are for Town Council Ward 1 and Town Council Ward 2.
Citizens desiring to be candidates for one of the offices may file at the Williamston Municipal Center, 12 W. Main St., Williamston.
Books will be open for filing at 12 p.m. on August 8, 2018, and remain open during regular business hours until 12 p.m. on August 22, 2018. The filing fee for the office of Council is $50.00.
