Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:
July 20 – Ruby Fortner Graddy, 67, 9 Spring St., Williamston reported a fraud incident in the amount of $813. No additional information provided. M. Beeman investigated.
Aug. 1 – Leslie Ann Wing, 58, 23 Traxler Ave., Williamston reported a break-in in which a building was entered and tools valued at $2550 were stolen. Missing items included a tool box and tools valued at $2000, pressure washer valued at $350, shovels/rakes and various hand tools valued at $200. J. Sargent investigated.
Aug. 1 – Patrice Marcella Peters, 28, 311 E. Caroline St,. #A reported an individual harassing and stalking her for about a month. The incident remains under investigation. B. K. Creel, Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.
Aug. 1 – Billy Ray Bannister, 67, 39 Middleton Blvd., Williamston reported items valued at $280 taken from a motor vehicle. M. Beeman investigated.
Aug. 5 – Gina Dawn Ricks, 45, 502B Garren Rd., Belton was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and trespass after notice after officers responded to Hardees, 1520 Anderson Drive in Williamston. According to reports, Ricks was in the women’s restroom and had clothing scattered all over. She was arrested for trespass after notice and transported to ACDC. While completing the intake process, a glass pipe, a clear ziplock type bag with 1.91 grams of a white crystal field tested positive for methamphetamine and less than one gram of a green leafy substance field tested positive for marijuana was found. Aug. 5 – Rite Aid, 201E. Main St., Williamston reported an unknown white male wearing baggy shorts and no shirt approached the pharmacy counter and requested allergy relief medicine. The unknown subject took the product, entered the bath room, opened the box and ran out of the store without paying. The item was valued at $5.79. L. B. Culbertson investigated.
Aug. 5 – Fast Fuel, 207 W. Main St., Williamston reported an unknown male subject made a purchase for $9.72 using a bill that was counterfeit. Det. G. Culbertson investigated.
Aug. 6 – Dale Douglas Kay, 59, 440 Campbell Rd., Pelzer was arrested for possession of methamphetamine after officers were dispatched to Anderson Drive near Family Dollar store in reference to a complaintant stating he was following an individual that had robbed his father. Officers recovered a white and clear glass stem with burned residue in the bowl and a clear baggy with crystal like substance. The substance was field tested as positive as methamphetamine and weighed.71 grams. Kay was arrested and transported to ACDC. B. K. Creel investigated.
Aug. 3 – Kristy Stone, 49, 1123 Bell Rd., Belton reported a tag stolen from a vehicle. M. Beeman investigated.
