Williamston Town Council will hold a public hearing during their regular monthly meeting on Monday, October 1, at 6:30 p.m. at the Williamston Municipal Center.
The purpose of the public hearing will be to hear any public concerns on a proposed amendment to the town zoning ordinance regarding setback limits. The change would reduce the rear setback requirements for all property in the “MFR-Multifamily Residential” Zoning District from 25 feet to 15 feet.
The Town Council will consider second reading of this proposed ordinance that same night at its regularly scheduled meeting.
Copies of the proposed ordinance are available at the Williamston Municipal Center. The public hearing will be open to the public. Any interested party may appear and be heard at this hearing in person, by agent, or by attorney.
