Williamston police officers investigated the following incidents recently:
Oct. 30 – Michael David-Dennis Czwalina, 17, 108 Bethany Dr., Pelzer was arrested for simple possession of marijuana after officer observed a Nissan on Gossett Drive traveling 51 mph in a 25 mph zone. An ashtray in the vehicle did have marijuana roaches inside it. K. Anthony investigated.
Nov. 1 – Corey Jerome Daniel, 41, 173 Cherokee Rd., Williamston reported a black G2C 9mm Taurus stolen from a vehicle at 115 West First St., in Williamston. The gun was valued at $270.00 C. C. Brown, R. Drenon investigated.
Nov. 1 – Roalia Charita Cox, 53, 135 Effie Dr,. Piedmont reported a hit and run incident in the parking lot at 559 West Main, Haven of Rest, in which a green truck backed into her car. The truck was driven by a white female with blonde hair wearing dark color shirt and pants. C. C. Brown investigated.
Oct. 25 – Tyrekus Lavanzer Blanding, 25, 318 Vine Hill Rd., Greenville was issued a summons for driving under suspension after a red Ford Crown Victoria was observed on Main Street. Sgt. L. E. Mulz investigated.
Oct. 25 – Laura Faye Draper, 35, 244 Ceader Ridge Anderson reported a financial fraud transaction. The incident remains under investigation. L. B. Culbertson investigated.
Oct. 26 – Dan Reid Driver, 57, 115 E. Main St,. Williamston reported paying for concert tickets bought on Craigs List through a paypal type account called Veonx. Driver stated that the subject received the money but failed to send the tickets and will not answer his phone calls. The incident remains under investigation. L. B. Culbertson investigated.
Oct. 27 – Lexienna Salas Owen, 20, 107 Manchester Ave., Piedmont was arrested for simple possession of marijuana and speeding after a red Ford sedan was observed traveling 53 mph in a 35 mph zone on Greenville Drive. According to reports, during a search of the vehicle, a partially rolled marijuana blunt, a brown cigar with a green leafy substance consistent with marijuana inside it and two pill bottles were found in the vehicle. A passenger, identified as Miss Young, was also arrested for simple possession of marijuana. Both were transported to ACDC without incident. K. Anthony investigated.
Oct. 27 – Clyde Edward Whitmire, 30, 223 Nash Mill Rd., Fountain Inn was arrested for driving under suspension and outstanding warrant after an older model Ford pickup truck with one headlight missing and a bed with an unsecured load was observed on Greenville Dr. The warrant was outstanding in Williamston. He was arrested and transported to ACDC without incident. K. Anthony investigated.
Oct. 26 – Aaron Lee McAlister, 25, 58 Woodmere Ct., Williamston reported a break-in in which the basement door was forced open. Nothing was reported missing. D. D. Morgan investigated.
Oct. 6 – James William Wilson, 56, 101 3rd St. Williamston reported a MCT air gun, a torque run and a few sockets were taken from a GCR service truck parked in his yard. The items were valued at $650. D. D. Morgan investigated.
Nov. 7 – Megan Rampey, 33, 4 Hardy St., Williamston reported a fraud incident in which a Kohl’s account had been opened in her name. The account has approximately $300 balance. M. Beeman investigated.
Nov. 10 – Officers were dispatched to 32 Ridge Ct., in reference to a civil dispute. According to reports, Jason Williams Kiedrowski, 35, 32 Ridge Ct., reported an incident in which he pushed his step son and his step son pushed him and the mother. Statements were taken and the incident will be presented to a judge. D. D. Morgan investigated.
