Warrant issued for suspect in Williamston homicide

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warrant and are seeking the whereabouts of an individual wanted for murder in the death of Jose Alfredo Martinez Jimenez, who was found deceased in a Williamston driveway Sunday morning.

On November 18, at approximately 6:30am, Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 139 Hillcrest Drive in Williamston in reference to a male subject on scene who was unresponsive. Upon arrival, Deputies found Jimenez (commonly known as Alfredo Jimenez) 24, of Belton, deceased in the driveway of the residence. It was later determined that Jimenez had been stabbed and had received blunt force injuries. Through witness statements, Detectives were able to identify Jhonny Wolfran Quintano Vasquez (commonly known as Jhonny Quintano), 23, of Williamston as the suspect.

At this time it is believed that Vasquez has fled South Carolina and that he is possibly heading north towards Virginia or the New York/New Jersey area where he is known to have family. It is not known if he is in a vehicle or if anyone is traveling with him.

A warrant has been obtained for Jhonny Wolfran Quintano Vasquez for Murder. Vasquez is described as a Hispanic male, 5’1″ tall, and weighing 130lbs. (Please see attached photos)
