A Whitefield firefighter turns his air pack on and awaits another firefighter before entering a burning house Tuesday morning. The house located at the intersection of Highway 20 and Garren Road suffered extensive damage. The fire was brought under control in less than five minutes. Firefighters from Cheddar, Williamston, Whitefield, and Belton responded. Medshore Ambulance Service responded and stood by as a precaution.
