The Palmetto Business Association held its 5th annual Christmas banquet on Sunday December 2 at the Saluda River Grill in Piedmont. The event was attended by approximately 80 people representing a variety of businesses in Williamston and the surrounding communities. The Christmas banquet is a great networking event for the PBA membership and is included in the membership dues. A buffet dinner was enjoyed by all and several great door prizes were given away. Mike Simpson, from ACE Hardware and Rental, was the lucky winner of the $200 money tree.
PBA President Bobby Winburn introduced the incoming officers for 2019. They are Roxanne Hall, President; Greg Witul, First Vice President; Sam Byler, Second Vice President; Paula Peyton, Third Vice President; Emily Crawford, Secretary; and Faye Meares, Treasurer.
