The Town of Williamston will sponsor a MLK Jr. breakfast program at 9 a.m. Feb. 2 at the Williamston Municipal Center. The program will celebrate the man, the legacy and the principles he stood for. The program theme is “MLK Jr. – A Celebration of Diversity”.
Keynote speaker will be Hervery B.O. Young, Esq. Mistress of Ceremonies will be Kimberely Brown, WSPA TV Anchor/Reporter. There will be live performances by the Palmetto middle School Chorus, Rev. Catlin Tierce, The Thurman Family, and the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir.
Admission is free, however you will need to obtain a ticket for the free buffet breakfast. Tickets are available at the Williamston Municipal Center or by calling 864-847-7473.
