LOUIS GEORGE MANIOS, JERRELL CAMPBELL, CAROLYN FLOYD, WILLIE HAROLD GRIER

LOUIS GEORGE MANIOS

Louis G. Manios, 77, of Piedmont, born in Greenville, died at his home Sunday, January 20, 2019.

He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church. He was the co-founder of Saad and Manios Accounting Firm.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Elias Manios. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Ridenour Manios; sons, George Andrew Manios and Christopher Louis Manios; two granddaughters; mother, Stella Manios; sister, Georgia Ann Koutsoukos; and brother, Teddy Manios.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 23, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church. Burial  followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The Manios family has created a GoFundMe page in Louis’s honor with 100% of all donations being directly turned over to Dabo Swinney’s All In Team Foundation, that among other great causes focuses on cancer research: www.gofundme.com/louis-manios.

JERRELL CAMPBELL

Jerrell Dean Bowers Campbell, 84, Pelzer, wife of the late David Cureton Campbell, Sr., died Saturday, January 19, 2019.

A daughter of the late Buster and Ollie Mae Massey Bowers, Jerrell was born in Greenville County.

She worked as a teacher at Hillcrest High School and as the secretary/treasurer of the South Greenville Fire District. She was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, David Campbell, Mary Campbell, Rachel Campbell, John Campbell, and Sarah Lancaster; ten grandchildren; sisters, Christine Steinbrueck and Mary Clardy.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 25, at Sandy Springs Baptist Church. Burial followed at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

CAROLYN FLOYD

Carolyn Faye Canada Floyd, 68, of Pelzer, wife of Rudolph Perry “Rudy” Floyd, died Wednesday, January 16, 2019.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Earl Eugene Canada, Sr. and Ruby Learleen Hickum Canada.  She was retired from Lockheed Martin and a member of Ware Place Church of God.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Darlene Payne Acklin of Greer and Mary Payne Sizemore of Anderson; son, Christopher Perry Floyd of Gaston, SC; sisters, Janet Canada French  of Knoxville, TN and Vivian Canada Whitmire of Greer; fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Saturday, January 19, at Ware Place Church of God. Burial followed at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

WILLIE HAROLD GRIER

The Unity Mortuary of Williamston announced that family and friends gathered Tuesday, January 22, 2019 to celebrate the life of Mr. Willie Harold Grier at New Prospect Baptist Church 619 Greenville Drive Williamston. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family is at 207 Bigby Street Williamston.
