Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are conducting a death investigation near the end of Lakeside Road, near Stables Road in Piedmont. An adult male’s body was found in the road by utilities workers, at around 7:20 am this morning (Monday Jan. 28). The cause of death is still under investigation by the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.
