CHARLES KNIGHT, JERRY GLENN, STEVE HUMAN, LOUISE MCGILL JORDAN

CHARLES KNIGHT

WILLIAMSTON – Charles Floyd Knight, Sr., 83, husband of Josie Fray Fields Knight, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019.

Born in Belton, he was the son of the late Floyd Lawrence and Annette Murise Hughey Knight. He was a shoe repairman for ten years, retired from Cushman Mill after thirty-seven years, and was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife of sixty-three years, he is survived by his children, Sara Gail Knight, Charles Floyd Knight, Jr., and April Hickman, all of Williamston; sister, Sandra Jane Brooks of Valley Springs, CA; and three grandchildren, Misty Leanne Knight, Angela Dawn Knight, and Charles Ray Hickman, Jr.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gray Mortuary.

The service was Sunday, February 17, at 3:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel, followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

JERRY GLENN

Thomas Jerry Glenn, 87, of Piedmont, husband of the late Rachel Kelly Glenn, died Sunday, February 17, 2019.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Milton and Nell Davis Glenn. A U.S. Army Veteran, he retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Piedmont Heights Baptist Church and the Piedmont Lions Club.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, February 19, at the Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.

STEVE HUMAN

Steven Dupree Human, 69, of Williamston, husband of Wanda Human, died Friday, February 15, 2019.

Born in Pelzer, he was the son of the late James Dupree and Sara Virginia Kay Human. He retired from maintenance and construction.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, February 19, in the Chapel of Gray Mortuary. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

LOUISE MCGILL JORDAN

Louise McGill Jordan, 82, of Anderson, died Monday, February 18, 2019, at her residence.

Born in Pelzer, she was the daughter of the late James Bowen and Ruby Reid McGill. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Jordan; daughter, Beth Jordan Lewis; son, Joey Jordan, Jr.; daughter, Christy Jordan Allen; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Jimmie Chandler.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, February 22, at Boulevard Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be at a later date at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery. The family is at the residence.
