The Anderson Police Department is looking for 28-year-old Clayton Lydel Hawkins of Williamston in connection with a shooting in Anderson Saturday.
The shooting incident occurred at approximately 11:40 PM on
Saturday, (March 23), in the area of 100 Brookmeade Drive.
According to reports, Hawkins shot into a vehicle containing two adults and four minor children. The children were unhurt; both adults were wounded. One victim is stable, and the other victim is in critical condition in the
Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Hawkins is being charged with six counts of Attempted Murder
and a charge of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a
Violent Crime in connection with the incident.
