DONNIE DAVIS

WILLIAMSTON – Donnie Ezekiel Davis, 68, husband of the late Cathy Elaine Johnson Davis, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Lloyd Ray Davis, Sr. and Dorothy Helen Seigler Davis. He was the owner of Davis and Son Heating and Air and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children, Donna McCuen of the home, Nickie Davis (Amy), and Sheba McCuen (Shane) both of Williamston; sister, Gail New of Williamston; brother, Ray Davis (Michelle) of Cheddar; and seven grandchildren, Dana, Cody, Katie, Daniel and Cassidy McCuen, and Addison and Alex Davis.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a brother, John Davis.

Visitation was held Sunday, March 24, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church, with the service following at 3:00 p.m. Burial was at the Garden of Memories in Belton.

SARA POWELL

Sara Josephine Autry Powell, 96, of Pelzer, died Thursday, March 28, 2019.

Born in Honea Path, she was a daughter of the late John and Alma Autry. She was retired from Fiber Industries and a member of Pelzer United Methodist Church.

Survivors include daughter, Linda Fricks of Williamston; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service was held Sunday, March 31, in the Chapel of Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson.

ALLEN CHARLES HAYNES

Allen Charles Haynes, 71 of Williamston, died Thursday March 28, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his sons Shane Haynes and Chris Haynes; three granddaughters; one grandson; brothers, Pat Haynes, Mike Haynes, Randy Haynes; sisters, Eleanor Lobosco, Frances League, Fay Harris, Linda Motes, special nephew Ron Nall.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Velma Haynes.

A private memorial was held for the family.

JENNIE LOOPER

Virginia Ford “Jennie” Looper, 88, of Honea Path, wife of the late Matthew Eugene Looper, died Saturday, March 30, 2019.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lewis and Carine Staggs Ford. She was a former textile employee and a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Powell  of the home; three grandchildren, Heather Taylor, Jason and Matthew Griffith; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Tuesday April 2, at Shady Grove Baptist Church in the Family Life Center. Burial was at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

JASON KELLY

Jason “Big Show” Kelly, 39, husband of Bridgett Bolt Kelly, of Piedmont, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of Thomas R. Kelly, Sr. of Piedmont and of the late Elizabeth Ruth Hannah Kelly. He was employed with Michelin TWEEL Technologies, in Greenville.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by three daughters, Destiny Nicole Kelly, Sakhia Semone Bolt, and Sophie Grace Kelly, all of the home; brother, Thomas R. Kelly, Jr. of Powdersville; and sisters, Kimberly Hall of Pensacola, FL and Lydia Kelly of Piedmont.

Funeral service was held Saturday, March 30, in the Chapel of Gray Mortuary.

BARBARA POSEY

Barbara Sue Bowen Posey, 80, of Pelzer, died Tuesday, March 26, 2019.

Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late J.C. Vanadore and Myra Ruth Bowen Simpson.  She was retired from Wal-Mart and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters, Sheryl Radford of Anderson, Debra Jean McElroy  of Greenville and Betty Sue Posey Spearman of Honea Path; sons, Billy Ray Posey  of Piedmont and Steve Posey of Easley; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Saturday, March 30, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family received friends following the service at the graveside.

JEAN LINDSEY

Jean Fowler Lindsey, 93, of Greenville, wife of the late Charles A. Lindsey, of Greenville, died Sunday, March 24, 2019.

Born in Pelzer, she was the daughter of the late William and Sadie Jordan Fowler.

She was a member of McCarter Presbyterian Church until her recent illness.

She is survived by daughters Regina Eargle and Kim Beam; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one sister, Roberta Kuykendall.

A graveside service was held Wednesday at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

BARBARA ANN ‘BOBBIE’ LEBUHN

Barbara Ann “Bobbie” LeBuhn 77, of Piedmont, died at the McCall Hospice Home on Saturday, March 30th, 2019.

She was born in Woodruff to her parents, the late Grady Lee and Grace Joella Richards Simpson.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Ann Fischer of Greer; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

She retired from The Waffle House.

A funeral service will be held 3 pm, Thursday, April 4th at the Westville Funeral Chapel 6010 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611.
