The seemingly interminable process of repairing Minor Street in Williamston reached a vital milestone Tuesday night, as the Anderson County Council approved a bid from Saluda Construction to perform the repairs. Saluda had the low bid of $337,615. The Council also approved a request from the Town of West Pelzer for two vehicles from the county’s inventory. The town will receive a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria and a 2003 Chevy Tahoe.
