Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:
Apr. 11 – James Rudolph Robinson, Jr., 57, 1110 S. Academy St., Ext, Williamston reported that earlier in the day he was picked up from the residence by a friend who was taking him to the store. They became argumentative and he told his friend to take him back home. He got out in the roadway and they began arguing and the suspect friend drove over his foot. When contacted, the suspect’s friend stated the victim was in the roadway and began slinging a propane tank at the suspect while he was sitting in the car. The suspect attempted to leave the location and stated the victim fell over as he went by and he did not know if he hit him or not. The incident remains under investigation and was to be presented to a judge. D. R. Hart, K. Anthony investigated.
Apr. 11 – Lou Ann Cheek Oshields, 46, 18171 S. Highway 101, Gray Court reported a handgun valued at $200 taken from her Toyota 4Runner while it was parked in the back parking lot of 14 Greenville Dr.
Apr. 23 – Joshua Glenn Bullard, 32, 801 SW Washington St., Gainsville, Ga., was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, trespass after officers responded to the area of Greenville Drive and Roberts Blvd. in reference to a call stating a female appeared to be in a verbal altercation with a male on the roadway. According to reports, the female identified as Amanda Wilson was located at the front of Burger King and appeared to be upset and agitated and kept looking towards Burger King. Dispatch advised she was clear of warrants and she was released. During the investigation a male identified as Bullard was observed crouched down behind the dumpsters near the back entrance at Burger King. He ran across the parking lot with a box and stopped at the road where he was detained. In his backpack was a needle and an Advil bottle that contained a clear bag of a white crystal/powder substrance field tested positive as methamphetamine. Wilson was placed under arrest for hindering an investigation by telling officers she was alone. Both were transported to ACDC. L. B. Culbertson, C. C. Brown investigated.
April 24 – Ronald Thomas Cape, 33, 10 Circle Dr., Williamston was arrested for disturbing the peace after officers responded to 10 Circle Dr., in reference to Cape causing a problem. According to reports he was yelling in a loud manner and not allowing anyone in the residence to rest. He was transported to ACDC without incident. D. R. Hart investigated.
Apr. 27 – Stop and Go, 103 Greenville Dr., Williamston reported a black male in his mid 40s attempted to purchase merchandise with a counterfeit $100 bill. Reports state the man paid for gas with a valid $10 bill and then attempted to purchase a pack of cigarettes and $10 in gas with the counterfeit bill. When advised the bill was counterfeit, he left in a black Tahoe. R. Maxwell, C. C. Brown investigated.
Apr. 30 – Jessica Lynne Skinner, 29, 230 Miler Rd., Anderson reported a tag taken from her 1998 Ford Explorer parked at 106 L St. D. R. Hart investigated.
May 3 – Michael David-Dennis Czwalina, 18, 108 Bethany Dr., Pelzer was arrested for simple possession of marijuana after officers responded to 130 W. 1st Street to follow up on a case. According to reports officers were told that a suspect in the case was at 20 Circle St. Two males were observed in the front seat of a vehicle at 20 Circle. During investigation, a rolled blunt with a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana was found in the vehicle Czwalina was issued a citation for simple possession of marijuana and released on scene. May 4 – Bruce Kenneth Hyatt, Jr. reported that a friend stole his wallet from the basement of the residence and another witness reported he had kicked the door in causing $100 in damage. The incident remains under investigation. B. K. Creel investigated.
May 11 – Danielle Marie Gates, 31, 614 N. Hamilton St, #1-x2 reported a bicycle valued at $150 stolen from her front porch. The bicycle is gray with black and yellow accents. B. K. Creel, C. C. Brown investigated.
May 12 – Morgan Alexis Vickery, 26, 139 Crown Court, Williamston reported an assault. No additional information provided. C. C. Brown investigated.
May 13 – Officer R. Maxwell was dispatched to 311 South Green Street in reference to a larceny reported by Jaimee Bear, 40 of 311 S. Green St.  Items valued at $500 were taken from a building. No additional information provided.
May 12 – Robbie Chapman Smith, 52, 8 Greenville Dr., Williamston reported a Badget 22 caliber rifle taken from a rental home she owns. The rifle is black and loads by pushing the barrel down and entering the shell. It is valued at $200. L. B. Culbertson investigated.
