Anderson School District One Commencement services for all three high schools will be held this Friday, May 24 at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson. Powdersville graduates will be the first to receive diplomas beginning at 9 a.m. Palmetto High Commencement will begin at 12 noon followed by Wren High at 3 p.m.
Palmetto High School Graduation services will include the following: Honor Grad Katelynn Thomas will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and the Varsity Concert Choir will sing the National Anthem. Honor Grad Katie Boozer will welcome guests. Salutatorian Jacob Hensley will present his Student Address which will be followed by a Choral presentation by the Varsity Choirs and Senior Chorus students.
Valedictorian Andrew Howard will present his student address. Honor Grad Erika Martin will present a “Letter from the Class of 2019”.
Palmetto High Principal Robert Roach will recognize special guests and participate in the Presentation of Diplomas. Also presenting diplomas will be District One Board Chair Nancy Upton, Superintendent Robbie Binnicker, Assistant Principal William Jones and Assistant Principal April Hays. Principal Roach will confirm graduates.
The Symphony Orchestra will lead the Alma Mater. Honor Grad Regan Gregory will have the Student Response and Honor Grad Mikaela Purgason will have closing remarks.
Calvary Baptist Church sponsored a cookout which was held at the Botanical Gardens in Clemson after the graduation service practice.

Special Music will be presented by Concert Choir members with solos by Honor Grad Patrick Denton Carter and Honor Grad Olivia Danielle Panasko. Wren High Principal Dr. Seth Young will recognize special guests including District One Board members, Office Personnel and Administrators.
