Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:
May 20 – Jonathan Seth Mize, 18, 110 Lockaby Rd., Pelzer was arrested for open container in a vehicle , possession of alcohol by person under age and driving under suspension after officers responded to a traffic accident at Belton Dr., and West Main St. According to reports Mize (driver) stated that he had placed a beer on the door and it had popped when the truck was struck by the other vehicle. Also one Bud Lite beer can that was 1/4 full and cool to the touch was found under the truck when it was moved. A passenger in the vehicle, Jordan C. Bowens  was arrested and officers were seeking a warrant for transfer of alcohol to a minor. Both were transported to ACDC without furthur incident. R. Drennon investigated.
May 20 – Officers responded to Mineral Spring Park in reference to two male subjects on the railroad tracks with BB guns. No additional information provided. Sgt. M. E. Eddleman investigated.
May 20 – Myla Mairna Vanadore, 60, 817 Tripp St., Williamston reported she heard something on her back porch and had seen a shadow by the back door. Officers found a crawl space door open and a lock on the ground with cut marks. The incident remains under investigation. D. R. Hart investigated.
May 19 – Nicholas Gaston Lee Warner, 22, 6 Deer Creek Dr., Piedmont was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and driving under suspension after officers observed a silver Chrysler van driving at a low rate of speed at G St. and E. St. The tag on the van came back to a Ford Taurus. Warner’s license was suspended for failure to pay a traffic ticket and he had an outstanding warrant. He was transported to ACDC where a small white container that held a small baggy with a clear crystal like shards inside. The crystal substance weighed .5 grams. D. R. Hart investigated.
May 18 – Officers responded to 309 E. Main St., in reference to a domestic situation in which Sally Breana Childress, 27, 102 Pinewood Dr., Williamston reported her ex boyfriend took her phone and would not give it back. Childress stated the boy friend, who is from Honea Path, smashed the phone which was valued at $500. A withdrawal complaint form was signed and no arrest was made. K. Anthony investigated.
May 15 – Angel Alicia Nicole Bellis, 22, 130 W. First St., Williamston reported receiving unwanted and obscene text messages. The incident remains under investigation. Sgt. M. E. Eddleman investigated.
May 15 – Rodney Dale McCall, 53, 532 College St #4 Central reported items stolen from 404 E. First St. Ext in Williamston.  Items included a fish finder valued at $500. There was no forced entry. Sgt. M. E. Eddleman investigated.
May 15 – Officer Maxwell responded to 10 Davis St. in reference to pills found in a car that was taken without the owner’s consent. No additional information provided. R. Maxwell investigated.
