An ACSO deputy tried to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle on Smith Drive and Osteen Hill Road for Reckless Driving Monday afternoon. The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit ensued. The driver of the fleeing vehicle wrecked in a single car accident at Old River Road at Osteen Hill Road. Pelzer EMS and West Pelzer firefighters were called to the scene to check on the driver who will be charged with Reckless Driving and Failure to Stop.
