Anderson County GOP to meet August 8


The Anderson County Republican Party will hold a Dutch Treat meeting at 12 Noon Thursday, August 8 at Dyar’s Restaurant, 2216 Old Greenville Highway, in Pendleton. Local GOP Chairman Cheryl Cuthrell will be introduced to residents of Anderson County and in particular the Pendleton area. Interested persons from all areas of Anderson County are also welcome. The meal from the Buffet line is Dutch Treat. You do not have to be a member of the local party to attend. Dress is casual. Eating is optional.
Discussions and question-and-answer sessions are planned on a variety of issues.
All Representatives of the Anderson County Delegation to the South Carolina State House and Senate are invited as well as all Anderson County Council members. US Congressman and US Senator from Upstate SC have also been invited. Those invited include State House Representative Brian White, State Senator Richard Cash, Councilman Brett Sanders, US Congressman Jeff Duncan, and US Senator Lindsey Graham and other Anderson County officials including Sheriff and Solicitor.
“Come out for a meeting with members of the Local GOP Board including Chairman Cheryl Cuthrell, First and Second Vice Chairs, Treasurer, and Secretary of the local Republican Party,” a spokesperson said. “All are welcome. Come to get more information and take part in more activity on the “grassroots” level.”
