Marquise Jevontay Rochester, 24, of Easley Hwy., Pelzer died Friday from injuries he sustained in a vehicle accident in Spartanburg on August 10. The incident happened at the intersection of E. Main St. and N. Church St. in Spartanburg at approximately 11:20 p.m. Rochester taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical where he succumbed to his injuries at approximately 2:04 pm Friday (Aug. 16).
According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, the exact cause of death is pending a forensic examination and toxicology results.
