Whitefield, Cheddar, and West Pelzer firefighters had a busy Monday morning. This was the second working structure fire they responded to. When they arrived at the home on H. I. Taylor Road minutes after receiving the call the home was engulfed in flames. Medshore Ambulance Service also responded to fire as a precaution. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Williamston firefighters also assisted by standing by.
