University of Notre Dame alum, noted historian, COSIDA Hall of Famer, and bestselling author, Tim Bourret, will be the guest speaker at the Friday, Sept. 20 meeting of the Anderson Area Touchdown Club. Farmer will be previewing the national game of the week between the Irish and the Georgia Bulldogs, as well as discussing all things Notre Dame, past, present, and future. The club will also be honoring their high school players of the week and coach of the week. This week’s meeting is located at the Anderson County Library, 300 N McDuffie St, Anderson, where a buffet lunch will be served by Mama Penn’s Restaurant. Cost is $15. Food line opens at 11:30am. The program will begin shortly after 12 noon and should be over by 1 pm or shortly after.
