Several people were injured after a three vehicle collision on Highway 81 at Cherokee Road Saturday afternoon. A van and sport utility vehicle collided at the intersection and the SUV left the roadway and struck a riding mower. The driver of the mower was not seriously injured but shaken. The SUV then overturned several times. All of the occupants of the SUV were transported to the hospital by Pelzer EMS. Piercetown firefighters also responded to the wreck. (Photo by David Rogers)
