An accident involving a car and a truck pulling a utility trailer slowed traffic on Hwy. 8 near Pelzer Wednesday afternoon. The accident happened near the intersection of Hwy. 8 and Garrison Road. South Greenville Fire Department and Greenville County EMS responded. South Carolina Highway Patrol investigated.
