The Town of West Pelzer will have a flag raising ceremony July 1 for the US flag recently presented to the town by members of the Anderson County Legislative Delegation.
House District 9 Representative Anne Thayer presented the flag, which has flown over the State House in Columbia, to the town during a recent meeting.
For the ceremony program, Quinn Pearson will give the Invocation.
West Pelzer Mayor Blake Sanders will have opening remarks.
Members of the Anderson County Legislative Delegation present will give remarks.
Anderson County officials will have remarks.
Charles Ellenburg will raise the flag which will be followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Councilwoman Pat Alexander will present Appreciation Awards.
Mayor Pro-Tem Jim Riddle will have closing remarks.
