On Wednesday, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 505 new confirmed cases and 28 new probable cases of the novel coronavirus that came from China.
DHEC also reported 42 additional confirmed deaths and 3 new probable deaths.

Anderson County reported 29 new cases and five deaths related to COVID.
Greenville County reported 30 new cases and 3 deaths related to COVID.
This brings the total number of confirmed deaths to 2,451, and 122 probable deaths.

DHEC is reporting 1,058 COVID patients hospitalized, 268 COVID patients in ICU and 156 COVID patients on ventilators.

The total number of individual test results reported to DHEC yesterday statewide was 2,470 (not including antibody tests) and the percent positive was 20.4%.
