On Wednesday (Nov. 18) the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 1,226 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 94 probable cases since the first case was reported Mar. 6, 2020.

DHEC also reported 22 new confirmed deaths and 4 probable deaths related to COVID.

This brings the total number of deaths in SC related to COVID to 3,906 and probable deaths to 276.

7,233 individual test results were reported statewide yesterday (not including antibody tests) and 17.0% percent were positive.
There were 830 COVID patients in hospitals. Of those 219 were in ICU and 105 were ventilated.
