Anderson county senior deputy coroner Don McCown (left) surveys the scene of a fatal wreck Tuesday evening. The wreck happened on Highway 81 at Highway 86. Brenda Lynn Woodson, 48 of Piedmont died in the wreck. She was a front seat passenger in a Chevy Equinox that was struck in the intersection by a pickup truck. The driver of the Equinox was injured. A rear seat passenger was critically injured. The driver of the pickup was not injured. Pelzer EMS, Wren and Three and Twenty firefighters responded to the wreck.
