PAWS (Animal Shelter) – Able to save 90% of the animals in our care this week.
INTAKES:  41 (3 owner surrender, 1 owner requested euthanasia, 1 return adoption, 27 from animal control, 10 strays, and 0 transferred in).
OUTCOMES: 31 animals adopted, 2 died, 4 were euthanized for illness or aggression, 2 animals were owner requested euthanasia, 9 were returned to owners, 27 were sent to rescue.
Currently 44 large dogs, 4 small dogs, 12 puppies, 28 cats and 11 kittens in the facility.  There are 148 animals in foster homes in our community.
PAWS diverted 14 animals from being surrendered to the facility and performed 39 community cat surgeries/rabies vaccines.
Currently 46 animals available for adoption. 24 of those animals are spayed/neutered (52%)
There are NO animals being held for court!
The clinic performed 130 surgeries.
6 dogs were treated for heartworms.
PAWS received $911.00 in cash donations.
