According to legend, if he sees his shadow, which he did, it means six more weeks of winter — if he doesn’t, only six more weeks until spring. Punxsutawney Phil was awakened at 7:25 a.m. Tuesday and made his prediction at Gobbler’s Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
