On Sunday (Mar. 7) DHEC reported 732 new cases and 131 probable cases of COVID-19 as of Friday, March 5. DHEC also reported 32 confirmed deaths and 6 probable deaths related to COVID.

Anderson County reported 32 new cases, 3 probable cases and 1 death related to COVID.
Greenville County reported 108 new cases, 4 probable cases and 2 deaths related to COVID.

There were 24,261 molecular test results reported with 4.4 percent positive.

There were 579 COVID patients in hospitals with 137 in ICU and 83 on ventilators.

Since the first cases was reported March 6, 2020, there have been a total of 449,977 confirmed cases and 75,888 probable cases reported across the state. Tragically, there has been 7,744 confirmed deaths and 1,010 probable death related to COVID in South Carolina.
