Glenn Davis was the winner of the Anderson County Council District 2 Democrat primary run-off election Tuesday, April 13.
Davis received 242 votes, or 59.02 percent over Marian A. Robinson who received 168 votes, or 40.98 percent.
Davis will face Republican David Standard in a Special Election to be held June 1. The winner will fill the vacant County Council District 2 seat. Standard was the only Republican Candidate that filed to run for the office.
