The number of new daily cases of COVID-19 continue to decline. On Tuesday (May 4) DHEC reported 294 new cases and 133 probable cases of COVID. Anderson County reported 19 new cases and 5 probable cases. Greenville County reported 43 new cases and 24 probable cases. There were 7,660 molecular test results reported with 5.1 percent positive.
There were 386 COVID patients in hospitals with 107 in ICU and 51 on ventilators.
