Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an incident in which human remains were located by a Deputies who were searching for a suspect that fled a traffic stop on July 6.
At approximately 3:22pm, Greenville County K9 Deputies were tracking a suspect that fled a traffic stop near Augusta Rd and I-85. They later located the suspect that fled the traffic stop. During the investigation, Deputies located unidentifiable humans remains at approximately 4:57 p.m. near a wooded area near the intersection of Woodmeade Way and Bruce Road. The suspect from the traffic stop and the human remains were believed to be unrelated.
