The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in a homicide investigation in which Todd Craven, 48 was found with apparent traumatic injuries at a home on Irby Road in Piedmont on September 5th at approximately. According to the ACSO, Deputy K. J. Grant responded to the residence on Irby Road/ Moores Mill Road at 8:45p.m. where a complaintant stated there was a deceased person outside of the residence with apparent traumatic injuries. The incident report stated the victim was choked/strangled. Detectives and Forensic Personnel responded and started an investigation. From the investigation, Detectives have arrested and charged
William Black Jr. has been arrested and charged for his involvement in the homicide.
The incident remains under investigation.
