On Tuesday Sept. 14, SCDHEC reported 3,552 new cases and 717 probable cases of COVID-19. DHEC also reported 35 deaths and 8 probable deaths related to COVID.
There were 31, 054 molecular test results reported with 12. 9 percent being positive.
Anderson County reported 130 new cases, 44 probable cases, 4 deaths and 1 probable.
Greenville County reported 341 new cases, 18 probable cases and 2 deaths.
Sept. 13 (For Sept. 11) – DHEC reported 3,474 new cases and 369 probable new cases. DHEC also reported 45 deaths and 6 probable deaths related to COVID. There were 49,119 molecular test results reported with a positivity rate of 10.1 percent.
Anderson County reported 204 new cases, 5 probable cases and 2 deaths.
Greenville County reported 525 new cases, 37 probable cases, 6 deaths and 1 probable death.
Sept. 12 – DHEC reported 3,935 new cases and 1,629 probable cases of the novel coronavirus. DHEC also reported 35 deaths and 3 probable deaths related to the virus.
There were 53,095 molecular test results reported with 15.3 percent testing positive.
Anderson County reported 229 new cases and 81 probable new cases.
Greenville County reported 456 new and 50 probable new cases.
On Sept. 12, DHEC reported that there were 309 new hospital admissions due to COVID. There were2,494 COVID patients in hospitals with 591 in ICU and 431 on ventilators.
Sept. 11 – DHEC reported 4,183 new cases and 1,173 probable new cases of COVID-19. DHEC also reported 35 new deaths and 34 probable new deaths related to COVID.
Anderson County reported 253 new cases and 24 probable new cases.
Greenville County reported 527 new cases, 52 probable new cases and 1 death.
DHEC Update Sept. 9, 2021
On Thursday, (Sept. 9) SCDHEC reported 2,198 new cases and 1,268 probable cases of COVID-19. DHEC also reported 50 deaths and 5 probable deaths related to COVID.
Anderson County reported 97 new cases, 33 probable cases and 3 deaths.
Greenville County reported 262 new cases, 26 probable cases and 6 deaths related to COVID.
There were 2,508 COVID patients in hospitals, 562 in ICU and 417 on ventilators.
On Wednesday (Sept. 8) DHEC reported 2,167 new cases and 830 probable cases of COVID. There were 22 deaths and 3 probable deaths related to COVID.
Anderson County reported 97 new cases, 36 probable cases and 4 deaths.
Greenville County reported 294 new cases and 15 probable cases.
There have been 6,808 “breakthrough” cases reported in the state with 557 requiring hospitalization and 130 deaths of breakthrough patients through August 31.
