On Tuesday (Oct. 11) DHEC reported 1,107 new cases and 235 probable cases of COVID-19. DHEC also reported 8 deaths in the state.

Anderson County reported 46 new cases, 12 probable cases and 2 deaths related to COVID. Greenville County reported 174 new cases, 25 probable cases and 1 death related to COVID.

There were 1,306 COVID patients in hospitals with 380 in ICU and 271 on ventilators. All three categories are down from the previous report. Number of Hospital patients is down 20 percent, ICU patients down 17.6 percent and number of patients on ventilators down 19.2 percent.
Anderson County had 107 COVID patients with 34 in ICU and 28 on ventilators.
Greenville County 182 COVID patients with 59 in ICU and 40 on ventilators.

On Friday (Oct. 8) DHEC reported 1,334 new COVID cases and 451 probable cases. There were 64 deaths and 10 probable deaths across the state related to COVID.
30,318 molecular test results were reported with 8 percent positive.
Anderson County reported 72 new cases, 27 probable cases and 7 deaths.
Greenville County reported 190 new cases, 36 probable cases, 11 deaths and 1 probable death.

On Thursday (Oct. 7) DHEC reported 1,205 new cases and 525 probable cases. DHEC also reported 59 deaths and 16 probable deaths related to COVID.
On Wednesday (Oct. 6) DHEC reported 834 new cases and 444 probable cases. There were 46 deaths and 9 probable deaths. Of 10,896 molecular test results, 11.1 percent were positive.
Anderson County reported 35 new cases, 27 probable cases and 3 deaths.
Greenville County reported 120 new cases and 26 probable cases.
There were 1,546 COVID patients in hospitals with 466 in ICU and 342 on ventilators.
