One person was shot Wednesday night on Emily Lane near Piedmont. According to the Greenville County sheriffs office a 911 call reported gunshots in the 500 block of Emily Lane. When deputies arrived they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot in the carport of a residence. He was taken to Prisma Health Greenville where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is continuing. There is no suspect information at this time and investigators request for anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
